Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines and requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided design, and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and achinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, water crafts, robotics, medical devices, weapons, and others. Besides all, mechanical engineering affects almost all aspects of our lives and embraces many areas of specialization automotive systems bioengineering combustion and ropulsion design methodology and tribology dynamic systems and controls energy systems and thermodynamics fluid mechanics heat transfer manufacturing and production materials behavior and processing and micro scale and nano scale phenomena etc.

The Under graduate programme in Mechanical Engineering offered by Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sree Buddha College Of Engineering , consistently training the students to attain those quality of a Mechanical Engineer by giving renowned members of faculty, laboratory faculties, library facilities and other infra structures . The sanctioned intake for B.Tech is 60 with a provision of admitting diploma holders in the third semester under lateral entry scheme.
