The Department offers Master of Technology (AICTE approved) program in Communication Engineering. The aim of the M. Tech. program is to train the students in deeper theoretical/practical knowledge which will enable them to tackle practical complex problems of design and development in industrial fields as well as pursue further academic achievements through research. To fulfill this aim, the program structure provides sufficient flexibility in electives, coursework and thesis project. The curriculum is designed to give adequate emphasis for efficient communication over noisy channels. In tune with that objective, the syllabus features courses like Advanced Digital Communication techniques, Advanced DSP, Computer Networks, Coding theory, Estimation and Detection, Communication engineering Laboratory etc..giving a balanced coverage of the theory and practice of modern Communication Engineering. The duration of course is 2years and the intake of students is 24.
