The department of Civil Engineering offers M.Tech degree programme in Civil Engineering with specialization in Computer Aided Structural Engineering. This course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to APJ ABDUL KALAM KERALA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. The sanctioned intake is 24 and the course is conducted in 4 semesters (2 years). This course is prepared with well-crafted syllabus focusing on the core areas of Structural Engineering with the support of well-equipped Structural Engineering Design Studio dealt with different structural analysis software like STAAD, STRAP, SAP, ANSYS, NISA etc., and the management software PRIMAVERA. The course offers a short-term industrial training and a master’s thesis to enhance the field experience and research-oriented knowledge of students.
