Two Day workshop on Android Studio / Android Application Development*
Introduction to FOSS , Session 1 as a part of Two day Workshop pn Android Studio @ Sree Buddha College of Engineering
*Innovation & Development Centre (SBW-IEDC)* of Sree Buddha College of Engineering on behalf of ICFOSS scheduled a *Two Day workshop on Android Studio / Android Application Development* from February 25th to February 26th at Sree Buddha College of Engineering Elavumthitta, Pathanamthitta.
The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre of Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Elavumthitta (SBW-IEDC) is organized the second phase of IEDC Induction Program “out of box 2.0” (Two day workshop on Design Thinking) on 19/10/2018 & 20/10/2018. This hand’s on course focused on Pitching Idea, Finding Customers, Product Design and Development & Prototyping.
The College Principal Dr. Somy Sebastian inaugurated the event at 10.30am on 19/10/2018. Around 50 students attended the workshop from Engineering colleges across the state including College of Engineering Munnar, Pathanapuram Engineering College, VKCET Chavara, College of Engineering Attingal, Mangalam College of Engineering Kottayam, Aranmula Engineering College etc.

Aranmula Engg College’s first Tech-Ed Start-up OFB (outOFBox) conduct IEDC induction program for students at Sree Budha College of Engineering, Elavumthitta from 13 -14 Agust 2018 . OFB team addressed the necessity of spreading awareness of IEDC in colleges. This is possible only by brainstorming, producing and nurturing innovative ideas and creative design thoughts in student’ minds, they added.
OFB founders are Mr. Sabarinath K (CEO of OFB, first CEO of Aranmula Engg College IEDC), Arjun C P (former COO of Aranmula Engg College IEDC)and Akshay Kumar (former COO of Aranmula Engg College IEDC).
OFB is conducting various Innovation/ideation workshops as well as IoT workshops at various schools (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya etc) and colleges (CE Pathanapuram, Sahrdaya Thrissur, Sree Budha Elavumthitta and discussion progressing with many other colleges including our CAPE institutions and some Polytechnic Colleges etc). They are also providing mentoring support to the Atal Tinkering Lab (10 Lakhs funded project of MHRD) at JNV Thrissur. The induction program was very informative for the students, especially for first year students. The interactive sessions added fun too. IDCE team at SBCE, Elavumthitta welcomed and thanked OFB team, with warmest heart for the memorable event they conducted.
